Temari & Thomas’s Hawaii Kai Wedding

 

An exclusive waterfront private estate, verdant lawns, majestic blue skies, elegant indoors, and some of the warmest and welcoming people – this is what my beautiful couple Temari and Thomas’s intimate wedding was all about. Woah! What a beauty the Ka La’i Aloha Estate in Hawaii Kai was, and photographing my couple’s special moments on their big day at this picturesque venue only ensured that I got some breathtaking images of the event. From natural lighting to refreshing views all around, the Ka La’i Aloha Estate was a delight, and choosing it over any other totally made sense for my couple who grew up in the gorgeous waterfront Hawaii Kai neighborhood. I had so much fun with my couple, their children, and all the other guests. The images turned out to look exactly as I had envisioned them – striking!

It was a wonderful day, and my couple’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous! From the dressing, florals, and decor down to all the other arrangements at this wedding, everything was super classy. There was a different charm to this celebration, which was definitely a result of my couple’s incredible personalities and their flawless wedding planning. In her bridal look, Temari looked drop-dead gorgeous, while Thomas looked all sharp and dapper in his suit. The colored gowns of the bridesmaids were also quite pretty and added a pop of color to the wedding images.

Temari and Thomas spent their special day surrounded by their childhood friends and family. There were some very heartwarming moments that I got to witness and totally loved documenting. So, when my couple had an intimate outdoor ceremony, I not only took photos of them saying their I dos but also captured the scene around them, which included their guests celebrating and cheering for them. The way the ceremony site was done gave it a very cheerful feel. The wooden arch, the florals, and the fine white fabric all made it look so impressive! And, with my bride and groom holding hands and looking at each other like that, I definitely had many dreamy moments to capture. Also, I loved Thomas’s reaction upon seeing his radiant bride walk down the aisle toward him and immediately captured those priceless expressions on my camera.

Other highlights of this beautiful celebration were the kids playing their little roles at their parents’ s wedding. Especially, the placard that read “Daddy, here comes Mommy!” was just so cute. The little boy’s smile was even more precious! Creating my couple’s portraits against those cloud-adorned skies and the waterfront scenery was an absolute joy. Temari and Thomas, if you are reading this, I hope you two love your wedding images as much as I loved photographing them.

Temari and Thomas, I love you two. Both of you are so sweet and kind. Documenting your wedding day into forever photos was both a pleasure and an honor. Also, I really loved meeting your little ones and photographing them at the wedding.
