Elopements have always allowed me to document a couple’s love story in the most authentic and heartwarming way possible. When couples ask me to be their photographer for their elopement I am always SUPER excited! Elopements tend to be no-fuss and no-drama which means more fun for everyone! Be it a small ceremony with 10 people or a beach elopement with just the couple in attendance, I have always had a blast photographing elopements and Erica and Brenda’s romantic elopement at Sandy’s Beach and Halona Blowhole in Oahu Hawaii was no exception. Love and happiness were in the air and the two of them simply wanted to soak in the moment of starting their new lives together. 

Erica And Brenda’s Hawaii Elopement At Sandy’s Beach

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, elopements are some of my favorites to photograph! And when Brenda and Erica contacted me to capture theirs, I knew it was going to be a fantastic day! Styled in casual white outfits that were perfect for their beach elopement, Brenda and Erica looked so sweet together. The lovely couple decided to celebrate this special moment in their lives alone together and the setting couldn’t have been more ideal – we had a stunning morning sky, the blue ocean, the crashing waves, and a full rainbow.

Erica and Brenda were full of love and their sunshine-like personalities radiated the whole morning. From walking hand-in-hand and sharing sweet kisses on the sandy beach to dancing and laughing in the surf, Brenda and Erica embraced one another and enjoyed celebrating their happily ever after. I could see that these two were head over heels for each other. I absolutely loved the cave photos we took and also when they popped a bottle of champagne – the sheer joy on their faces was priceless and I’m so happy to have captured this moment for them. 

As we continued exploring the beach and different backdrops, mother nature provided just enough rain for a beautiful rainbow. It was such a stunning sight to behold and there was no chance we were going to miss the picture-perfect moment! Brenda and Erica shared a kiss as they stood under the blue sky with the rainbow perfectly in the frame.

When you are on a beach in Hawaii, you just have to get in the water. And Brenda and Erica did just that! They definitely knew how to have fun and without thinking twice they were up for getting some romantic pictures in the water. Erica and Brenda’s chemistry really shone through their photos and their energy was absolutely fantastic. 

The newlyweds didn’t shy away from showing their love in front of my camera and were a complete dream to photograph. Throughout their elopement, Brenda and Erica focused on each other and also posed from time to time like total pros, making my job easy! And Erica and Brenda if you’re reading this, I just want to give you a shout-out for being so confident and comfortable, I loved how carefree and fabulous you were in front of the lens.
